Here are my pros and cons on Brenda's. Pros: 1. The food is extremely good. I really enjoyed the fried chicken. Had a nice flavor to it and a nice crunch. 2. Services is really good. I'm surprised if fried chicken comes out really quick compared to a sandwich. 3. They have a nice patio in the back, which also has a cover encase the sun is out. Cons: 1. The hot sauce on the mama spicy chicken isn't that great it's OK but I wouldn't order it next time. 2. They have limited seating so if there's a rush, you'd have to wait for a table to be available. In conclusion, this is a nice little eatery. I would highly recommend everyone to check it out. I believe you people will enjoy the food. They have great breakfast and they have very good lunch and some great prices to go along with it.

Went at 11:30AM on a Sunday and sat at the bar as there were no tables available. Tables were opening up rather quickly though. I got a cream biscuit with a side of sausage gravy and bacon. It was great! The biscuit melts in your mouth. My friend had the French toast and gumbo. Gumbo was good, French toast was average. Staff was very friendly and it made the place feel like it had southern charm! Giving it 4 stars because we asked how long for a table and were told 30 minutes. We opted for seats at the bar and then a couple came in 5 minutes later without a reservation and sat at a table.

We came by for brunch after a long night out the day before, and it truly cured our hangover. We ordered the beignet, eggs benedict, and the biscuit & gravy. The portions are plentiful and most importantly the biscuits are the BEST - literally so flaky, moist, and buttery. They have a variety of beignet options, from savory to sweet so we really couldn't choose however, opted for the original. The beignet was one of the biggest one's I've had, and again, it was super tasty. Of note, these come in three but we only needed one so the server let us order a singular. Overall, the food is pretty dense but so good. We weren't able to try their other plates but def want to come back so we can eat the more mains such as the fried chicken or crawfish items.

Delicious meal with plenty of side options for a great value! We enjoyed the fried chicken, tomato salad, tomatoes and okra, cheesy grits, and coleslaw and slow cooked pork. This is a lot of food so come hungry, we didn't get to try desserts this time around but the beignets looked yummy! Service was helpful and the bathrooms were clean!
